What is a collectible item I can start for son at Christmas like the Barbie and Hess that come out yearly?
I am looking to start getting him one item every year that comes out like the Holiday Barbie and the Hess truck collection. Obviously not the Barbie and I really don’t want to do the Hess because another family member does.

If you wish to do this, get items you or they like. Do not do this sole as an investment. If you buy an item for 20 dollars and 10 years it is worth 50 dollars OK. if it is only then worth 5 dollars also OK. do this because you like it, and if it goes up in value, consider that a bonus. Do not let it be a determining factor in your decision on what to collect. I collect Tasmanina Devil, Not because it will be worth something someday, but because i really like TAZ.
