What car or truck should I purchase to be a future collectible?

I plan on purchasing a vehicle that is fun and will most likely be collectible. I would just drive it in nice weather and would put little mileage on it.
I would be able to spend up to around $25,000.
Whatever I purchase, it needs to be reliable/easily serviced, somewhat comfortable (able to fit in at 6’2″ tall), under 35,000 miles (approx.), and fairly fast. I would prefer a convertible, but it is not a necessity.

I have been considering the following:
Honda s2000
BMW Z4 3.0
Audi TT Quattro Roadster
Dodge Ram SRT-10
Chrysler Crossfire (coupe and roadster)
Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 Coupe
Subaru WRX STi
2004-2006 Pontiac GTO
2001-2003 Corvette Z06
Chevrolet SSR
Mazda RX-8
Nissan 350Z
Toyota MR2 Spyder
Porsche Boxster and Boxster S
BMW M Roadster (Z3)
Mazdaspeed MX-5

If anyone has any personal experience with any of these, please let me know.
Think you know what will be a wise investment? Let me know.

Advice of any kind is appreciated.

Corvettes are nice!

For best bang for the buck, consider these,

The Mustang SVO 84-86, and Cobra SVT are and will be collectibles :)

also, T-Bird SuperCoupe 89 -97 (supercharged)
Mercur XR4TI 84-88 (turbocharged SVO motor)

A car needs to be at least 25 years old to be a collectible, and preferably a popular model that wasn’t made huge numbers. Or it should be an exotic handmade car like a higher end Ferrari.

None of your cars are exceptionally exciting. And you won’t know what’s popular in 25 years until you wait and see.

Also to be collectible and valueable the car should be kept in excellent condition. You can do that if you’re looking to drive it daily.

Why not just buy it because you like it? After all, cars are not investments. If you want an investment, buy real estate.

Go with the mr2. They stopped making them already, so that just makes since. It’s collectible TODAY!
