How To Get Rust Off Of Collectible Plates?
I have collectible plates with gold trim and pictures. Their wall mounts rusted and I need to get the rust off without harming the picture or the gold trim. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

soak it for one hour in coke
This is just a stab in the dark but I would try Coke cola. Men have used it to remove rust on their car batteries..

There is a commercial product available called “Whink” it comes in a small flat brown (copper or bronze) plastic bottle with white print and a white top…
I’d be sure to check it for “gold”-fastness, but it certainly works on the rust!
They sell it in some grocery stores.
