How do you value collectibles that were broken by a serviceman?

Question by nick: How do you value collectibles that were broken by a serviceman?
I can see the values in a book, but now my figurines will have glued heads and glued arms. Is there a percentage of the loss for antique collectibles when they are broken. I Need an approach for insurance reasons for the tradesman’s insurance company.

Look them up on ebay see how much they have sold for and then average it out.
