My PERS doesn’t work at all. Unscrewed the back panel to see what was going on to find the other end of joystick snapped clean off. To make matters worse, replacement heads are going for £50 on eBay – ridiculous! The most frustrating part is I only need the little plastic joystick part anyone know where you can get them?
wow that’s totally radical
holy shit!! I HAVE TO BUY ONE!!!! =O
I ordered the dx01 joker on amazon for around $145 cant wait to get it i ordered it during the holidays and its taking forever….-_-
Congrats, I envy you :D
Just comparing the feature, I got him as a Christmas gift from my cousin.
Are you comparing this amazing figure to an Action Man from the 70s?!?!
Hehe xD
The MMS DX Joker is the best figure ever made from Hot Toys… Period. I have it and I’m loving it!!!!
Hmmm… Strange.. You’re the first to have any problems with the PERS feature.. Mine is working fine..
i thought it was a electronic motion detection stuff,… when i saw the little joystick behind it was kinda… dissapointing…
Sorta similar to the eyeball rolling gimmick from the 70s Action Man figures.
sorry to hear that, you should make a video response to this video showing how it Doesn’t work
when i do the same thing the guys doing in the vid, the eyes don’t move at all. I know for certain I didn’t do anything to make it malfunction. I contacted Hot toys about it earlier this week, and I haven’t got a reply. Bull$H!t
how so?
Im EXTRA PISSED because the PERS feature on mine doesn’t work.
i got this is amazing figure
I think nerd is an increasingly affectionate term, with such adjectives as “nerdawesome”: Something that’s only awesome because you’re a dork (in an adorable lovable way)
both virtually the same, but i just see it the other way round.. a nerd is someone that isnt very clever and has no friends, and a geek is inteliigent.. but im not a geek or a nerd, i just say that cause im cool
no nerds are people that dont have friends and dont speak to people, but just love stuff like building computers… but everyone has inner geek.. most celebrities are geeks..
geeks are like people that are obsessesed with something thats what makes them geeky.. so most people that collect these are action figure geeks..
I think that’s a fair point. Most people who own these aren’t going to play with them the way we did with action figures and GI Joes, so it’s mostly just an impressive innovation and allows collectors to pose the figures pretty much however they want.
I had an action figure collection when I was a kid and all the figures stood straight up and stared straight ahead. So Hot Toys is thinking outside the box I guess.
I would think geek is more derogatory.
I would say I’m a movie nerd or a Batman nerd and I have “nerdgasms” when I see a trailer for a movie that looks awesome, but a geek carries connotations of social awkwardness.
That face sculpt is really good, really good likeness, much better than that first joker by Hot Toys.
