Are collectible but not working music boxes worth anything?
I am in the process of cleaning out my deceased father’s home. He has quite an assortment of swiss music boxes, but they don’t work. I had been planning to bring them to an Ebay store but can anyone tell me if this is worth my while?

I would put them up on ebay alot of people who collect may need some of the parts for their boxes I would put that in the auction title Swiss music boxes for parts and name the brand

yes they are….some people buy them to fix and others use them for parts…don’t throw them, sell them and tell the people the conditioned they are in.
It depends upon the age and the maker. If there’s a rare one in there, it would be worth something, working or not, because someone can always fix the “guts” as long as it’s in good cosmetic condition.
